Pottery Workshop

portrait_potteryworkshop_c.png

The Pottery Workshop is a ceramic art education and artists exchange centre established in Hong Kong in 1985. Today, the Workshop has its bases in Shanghai, Jingdezhen and Dali. Hong Kong specializes in classes for adults and children; Shanghai creates more ceramic-ware; and Jingdezhen offers international artists residency programs.

At TheBookshop, the Workshop presents different ceramic artists works from time to time.

Aidan Wong is an instructor of The Pottery Workshop. Her work “Fountain” was selected for the 14th Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition 2003. She loves creating functional wares, especially various teapots.

Queenie Leung learned pottery with ceramicist Mak Yee Fun. An instructor at the Pottery Workshop in Hong Kong since 1994, her works are collected in the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art and private collectors.
