Grew up in Hong Kong and studied architecture at the University of California at Berkeley, Jimmy is a watercolour artist and an architect currently working in Hong Kong. When he was young, he fell for western painting and did a lot of charcoal and acrylic paintings. Till five years ago, he started watercolour and found watercolor set surprisingly portable, extremely easy to maintain, and perfect for urban and travel painting. With a strong architectural background, he developed a painting style that skillfully combines the artistic and technical side with a focus on urban architecture and landscape plein-air painting. His paintings often show rich composition with layering, detailing, accurate perspective and an emphasis on light and shadow with a touch of classical painting style.

Jimmy，水彩畫家及建築師。Jimmy小時候喜歡碳筆及亞克力彩繪。長大後，因為對藝術及設計的興趣而攻讀建築系。在建築設計工作多年後，因機緣再次接觸繪畫；五年前，開始水彩創作，初學時會覺得難以控制，但很快掌握。他喜歡水彩畫的便攜性及容易保質的優點，非常適合城市及旅遊寫生。他的繪畫風格建基於多年的建築工作經驗，融合感性與理性，表現出豐富的細節、嚴謹的構圖，以及古典繪畫常見的準確透視及光影表現。
